Senate Bill 100 For those who have struggled with their homeowners associations, Senate Bill 100 was passed into law at the Nevada Legislature in 2004. Authored by Nevada State Senator Mike Schneider, the legislation breezed through both the Senate and the Assembly before it was signed into law by Nevada Governor Kenny Guinn. The legislation bars homeowners’ associations from prohibiting residents from having rolling shutters to improve home security or to reduce energy costs. |

Bahama Shutters are large louvered panels attached just above the window and held away from the house by two support rods. The shutters are permanently mounted to the side of the house. They combine form with function with an island flare to protect windows from the harsh Southern Nevada sunlight and flying golf balls. They are made of maintenance free aluminum and allow for privacy and sun control without sacrificing fresh air or the view of the outdoors. |
