Couple calls on Rolladen Rolling Shutters for security, privacy

Nancy and Ed Rossol recently equipped part of their 3,800 square foot home with Rolladen Rolling Shutters to provide security. They plan to have Rolladens installed on the remainder of the home in the future.

Ed and Nancy Rossol travel often, so the couple filled their concerns regarding security with the installation of Rolladen Rolling Shutters on their 3,800 square-foot one-story home situated in a gated community in the northwest valley.

“Both security and privacy were concerns of ours,” said Mrs. Rossol. “We now have the shutters installed on seven doors and windows and will eventually have them put on the entire house.”

Mrs. Rossol said the couple learned about Rolladen through a friend.

“I could not live without them,” she said. “I love the fact that we have them on remote control now. I just push the button in the morning and can see the beautiful blue sky and the mountains along with my gorgeous back yard. If we ever move, I would definitely have them installed again.

“They are worth very penny.”

Mrs. Rossol praised Rolladen for its installation.

“It was wonderful,” she said.         

Rolladen Rolling Shutters are roll-filled aluminum slats used to cover doors and windows of both residences and businesses. They come in a variety of colors and are built locally with parts from Europe, where the shutters have been a part of residential and commercial construction for more than 100 years.

The multi-faceted rolling shutters have been installed more recently to meet demands produced by increased crime. A company spokesman said about 40 percent of its business is the result of break-ins throughout the valley.

The shutters block the heat, cold, wind and dust along with the intense sun which can bleach and damage furniture, draperies and carpeting.

The shutters also drop power consumption as much as 63 percent. By doing so, they also save on wear and tear of air conditioning or heating units.

Opened locally by long-time Las Vegan Fran Minnozzi at 6168 W. Charleston Blvd., just west of Jones Boulevard, Rolladen Rolling Shutters also now has an additional showroom at 4405 Wagon Trail Ave., near Arville and Sunset roads.

Both locations are open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.
